Take a first glimpse of Jude Law embodying Russia’s Vladimir Putin in the upcoming movie, The Wizard of the Kremlin.

The film’s plot unfolds in the turbulent aftermath of the Soviet Union’s collapse, where Vladimir Putin (Law), a rising officer in the KGB, teams up with the cunning manipulator Vadim Baranov (Paul Dano) to transform life behind the Iron Curtain. Their partnership employs violence and deceit to alter the course of history permanently. The duo’s campaign of disorder begins with deceit and corruption, rapidly intensifying into assassinations, oppressive rule, and ultimately, full-scale war.

The cast also features Alicia Vikander, Tom Sturridge, Will Keen, and Jeffrey Wright. The movie is scheduled for release in theaters on May 15.
